+Day 1 ~ Arrive Delhi

(ETA: At your arrival flight time, advised) in ‘Delhi’ you will be met and transferred to your hotel for checkin.

+Day 2 ~ Delhi (B)

9am. Our tour begins in the morning with New City visiting emperor Humayun’s Tomb built during 1565 in a Persian architecture. Next, we visit inside India’s popular Sikhism shrine Bangla Sahib Gurudwara where we also visit its holy kitchen Langar. Here thru-out you can hear continuous meditations by Saints. Next, we take you to boulevard Raj Path where we walk around to witness India Gate, President & Parliament House (fm outside).

1pm. We begin our heritage tour with Old Delhi city. Here visit inside India’s oldest & largest mosque Jama Masjid. From here we hop-on a local tricycle to enjoy Rickshaw Ride thru narrow bazaar markets of Chandni Chowk. Here we taste local pancakes Samosa & masala tea Chai. As you will ride enjoy sighting local life, spice traders, fresh fruit/incense vendors, traditional houses to temples, local cows to macaques. Not to forget we also stop outside residence of Mughal Empire Red Fort.

5pm. After tour, we return to Hotel.

+Day 3 ~ Delhi / Mandawa (apx. 6Hr & 257Km scenic drive) (B)

8am. After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and driven to heritage town of Mandawa and checked-in at Hotel.

3pm. We take you for sunset tour of Mandawa Village exploring fresco painted royal houses Haveli and interact with Village Life.

Later we return to hotel.

+Day 4 ~ Mandawa / Bikaner (apx. 4Hr & 190Km scenic drive)(B)

8am. After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and driven to heritage city Bikaner and checked-in at Hotel.

2pm. Heritage tour begins in afternoon as we visit the Junagarh Fort and its Museum inside. Built in 1589 by Raja Rai Singh- the ruler of Bikaner and a general to the army of Mughal Emperor ‘Akbar’, this Fort houses exquisite palaces to detailed victory halls making its architecture as one of the finest amidst the Thar Desert of India. Next, we visit inside an ancient Bhandasar Temple of Jain religion. Jainism is an ancient Indian religion that prescribes non-violence towards any living thing. This stunning temple showcases rare yellow-stone carvings to vibrant pillars painted of great Jain teachers. To mark its purity, 40,000Kg of ‘Ghee’ (cow milk butter) was used in the mortar instead of water. This triple storied temple houses beautiful ancient sentries of gods on its first floor, to splendid views of the city and desert from its third floor. Later we return to Hotel

+Day 5 ~ Bikaner / Jaisalmer (apx. 6Hr & 333Km scenic drive) (B)

8am. After breakfast/check-out we drive you to the desert city of Jaisalmer aka the golden city of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative for check-in at your Hotel.

+Day 6 ~ Jaisalmer (B )

9am. Our heritage tour begins as we visit the relaxing Gadsisar Lake and 1156AD built Jaisalmer Fortress and walk inside its mazed lanes to explore royal palaces, ornate temples, heritage mansions, wells and shops. Standing over 250ft tall and 1500ft long this is one of the largest Forts in the world, and offers panoramic views of the city. Over the years, various battles have defined this fort, but today its home to over 3000 people living inside. Next, we visit the city’s first and the largest ‘Haveli’ aka Heritage Mansion Patwon Ki Haveli. It is locally famed as ‘a mansion of brocade merchants’, since the family dealt in threads of gold-silver used in traditional embroidery.

4pm. For a relaxing sunset moment, we take you for Camel Desert Safari at ‘Khuri’ or ‘Sam’ Desert Camp. Later we return to Hotel.

+Day 7 ~ Jaisalmer / Jodhpur (apx. 6Hr & 308Km scenic drive) (B)

8am. After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and driven you to blue washed royal city Jodhpur and checked-in at your Hotel.

+Day 8 ~ Jodhpur (B)

9am. After breakfast, we begin your heritage sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. We visit 1460-built Mehrangarh Fortress. Standing over 410ft above city, the fort offers panoramic views of this blue washed city i.e. Jodhpur. Next, we visit royal cenotaph Jaswant Thada built in 1899 as a memorial to Jodhpur’s ‘Maharaja Jaswant Singh II’. Later we walk thru mazed lanes of Old Town to explore charming blue coloured houses of locals. As per Hindu mythology Lord Vishnu aka the preserver of universe, is one the main Gods, and blue being his Colour. Hence the religious locals paint their homes exterior in bright blue colours. We continue walking and visit Clock Tower and local markets Sadar Bazaar.

2pm. For afternoon tour, we hop-on local Jeeps and take you for Village Safari inside the local Bishnoi Village to interact with village tribes and experience their lifestyle such as their fine artwork and pottery making skills. Later we return to hotel.

Overnight: Hotel in Jodhpur

+Day 9 ~ Jodhpur / Udaipur (apx. 5Hr & 260Km scenic drive) (via Ranakpur Village) (B)

8am. After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and driven to heritage lake city of Udaipur and enroute we visit Ranakpur Village to explore it sacred Jain Temples. Upon arrival in Udaipur we check-in at your Hotel.

+Day 10 ~ Udaipur (B)

9am. After breakfast, we begin your heritage sightseeing tour. We visit inside Maharaja’s City Palace with Museum. Next, we visit inside city’s largest hindu temple Jagdish Temple, and royal garden of maidens Sahelion Ki Badi. Later we visit local markets in Udaipur Bazaar before returning to Hotel.

4pm. For sunset we take you for Boatride on Lake Pichola to view Udaipur at its best and visit inside palace on island Jagmandir (famed spot for 1983 James Bond film ‘Octopussy’). Later we return to hotel.

+Day 11 ~ Udaipur / Khempur (B) + High Tea (apx. 1Hr & 50Km)

8am. After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and driven to film location of ‘best exotic marigold hotel’ at Khempur Village and checked-in at the actual film hotel Ravla Khempur.

Enjoy rest day at leisure at this heritage hotel.

4pm. You will be taken for sunset Village Walk, Bullock Cart Ride and traditional High-Tea will be served at outside local setting. Later we return to hotel.

+Day 12 ~ Khempur / Pushkar (apx. 5Hr & 260Km scenic drive) (B)

8am. After breakfast and check-out you will be picked-up and driven to camel town of Pushkar and checked-in at your Hotel.

+Day 13 ~ Pushkar / Jaipur (apx. 4Hr & 150Km scenic drive) (B)

8am. After breakfast and check-out you will be picked-up and taken for sightseeing around the famed Pushkar Lake where pilgrims bathe in holy water, and its 2000yr old Brahma Temple.

10am. We continue drive to royal pick colored city Jaipur and check-in at your Hotel.

+Day 14 ~ Jaipur (B)

8am. We begin our heritage tour as we present to you traditional Turbans, Bindis, Stolls and hop-on Royal Elephants to climb you up-hill located Amber Fortress. Built in 16th Century by Raja Man Singh I, this fortress is a striking blend of both Hindu & Rajput elements. Inside we explore mirror palace Sheesh Mahal and Royal Courtyards. Afterwards we photo-stop at water palace Jal Mahal located in the center of Man Sagar Lake and home to various migratory birds. This palace is surrounded by Aravalli Hills, Ancient Forts & Temples that makes this a perfect photography spot. Next, we explore true Rajasthani architecture, as we visit inside Maharaja’s City Palace & Museum, built by Raja Jai Singh II during the 1700AD and located in the heart of the old city. Here outside the Palace we also taste local delicacies Mango Ice-Cream!

1pm. In the afternoon, we visit the local City Bazaar Markets where you are free to explore on own. We suggest trying a traditional ‘Kurta’ (Indian top), ‘Juti’ (Indian footwear). Our guide will also accompany you just in case you need a hand in negotiating with locals. If interested to use credit card/forex, then for safety if time permits we can take you to secured Government vicinity. From Bazaar, we hop-on a local Tuk-Tuk for a ride alongside narrow streets of colorful bazaar, witness heritage landmarks and as we ride we also take a photo-stop outside the Palace of Winds Hawa Mahal. Afterwards we drive-return to Hotel to rest.

5.30pm. We take you to watch a Bollywood Blockbuster at a local cinema Raj Mandir and get entertained by the whistling/hooting of local crowd (being local cinema, films here are 3hrs duration without subtitles, hence we exit at halftime interval).

7pm. Optional Direct-Pay. Enjoy Traditional Farewell Indian Buffet Dinner outside. For this evening, we visit an actual location of Exotic Marigold Film at Hotel Narain Niwas Palace / Diggi Palace or similar. (unlimited mixed buffet @ apx. INR 1000 pp). (Film hotel is subject to availability). After Dinner, we return to Hotel.

Later we return to hotel.

+Day 15 ~ Jaipur / Agra (apx. 4½ Hr & 235Km scenic drive) (via Abhaneri) (B)

8am. After breakfast/check-out we drive to Mughal-Era rich city of Agra aka the home of Taj Mahal. Enroute we also visit Abhaneri Village and explore its secret underground stepwells Chand Baori famed from films Best Exotic Marigold Hotel & Dark Knight Rises. Upon arrival in Agra you will be met by our representative and checked-in at your Hotel.

4pm. We take you for sunset viewing of world famed Taj Mahal from scenic riverside Mughal gardens Mehtab Bagh.

Later we return to Hotel.

+Day 16 ~ Agra / Delhi (apx. 3½ Hr & 203Km drive) (B)

6am. We take you for sunrise tour to inside of Taj Mahal. In a lesser crowd explore beauty of this wonder built by emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his bellowed wife. After the tour we return to Hotel for breakfast and checkout.

10am. We begin our visit to impressive imperial residence of Mughal dynasty Agra’s Red Fort built in 16th century and today a UNESCO world heritage site. Next, we visit baby Taj Itmad-Ud-Daulah.

1pm. We continue your drive to Delhi & dropped off at (place to be advised) in Delhi
