Morning or Afternoon we will picked up from your hotel in Bharatpur & our day tour begins Keoladeo Ghana National Park formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India is a famous avifauna sanctuary that hosts thousands of birds, especially during the winter season.

Bharatpur is a man-made and man-managed wetland and one of the national parks of India. The reserve protects Bharatpur from frequent floods, provides grazing grounds for village cattle, and earlier was primarily used as a waterfowl hunting ground. Over 300 species of birds are known to be resident. Bharatpur is a Wonder of the natural world no less worth seeing than marble tomb of Shah Jahan's Queen. Over 300 species of birds find refuge in the 11 sq miles (29 sq kms ) of shallow lakes and woodland which make up the park . A third of them are migrants many of whom spend winter in Bharatpur before returning to their breeding grounds as far as away as Siberia as central Asia.

Bharatpur is a mosaic of dry grasslands, woodlands, woodland swamps and wetlands. These diverse habitats are home to 366 bird species, 379 floral species, 50 species of fish, 13 species of snakes, 5 species of lizards, 7 amphibian species,

Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary is open throughout the year; still the ideal visiting months are from August-November for resident breeding birds and October- February for migrant birds. After above tour you will be brought back to your Hotel in Bharatpur.
