+Day 1 ~ Arrive Kochi (D)

(ETA: At your flight time, advised) in ‘Kochi’ (Old name Cochin) you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel for check-in.

6pm We take you for an entertaining evening of live Kathakali dances of South India followed by Ethnic

Local Dinner. O/N: KOCHI HOTEL

+Day 2 ~ Kochi (B L)

8am. After breakfast we take you for sightseeing of Kochi. We begin with a Cycling Tour (apx 4Kms) of Heritage Fort Kochi aka Old Kochi area where we hop-on local bicycles and follow your guide. We begin pedaling thru one of the oldest street of Fort Kochi Princes Street. Here you can witness a perfect blend of new and old colonial era, as the street is home to British, Portuguese, and Dutch era architecture visible everywhere from local residences, shops to cafés. We continue cycling thru Old Kochi Beach, and witness here how local fisherman use traditional Chinese Fishing Nets for fishing. We continue cycling tour and visit inside 1500 built Santa Cruz Basilica and St Francis Church renowned world-over as the oldest European church in India. Later we end your cycling tour at Princess Street where you can enjoy leisure time to indulge in local street shopping.

11:45am. We take you to a local family residence for an ethnic South Indian Cooking Class followed by Lunch. Your cooking class will include tasting, self-preparation and demonstration.

3pm. We continue your sightseeing tour as we visit inside Portuguese Dutch Palace locally called Mattancherry Palace. Next we visit the famed Jew Town area to explore one of the worlds oldest existing Jewish Synagogue. In Jew Town we also visit The Spice Markets where shopkeepers explain you the importance of various spices. These markets are renowned for trading between Europeans and Arabs since the olden times, and today home to traditional spices, oils and classic arts-craft.

Later we return to Hotel.

+Day 3 ~ Kochi/Munnar (B L) (135 kms, appx. 4 hrs drive)

8am. After breakfast/check-out we drive you to Munnar Hill Station situated in the Western Ghats range of mountains. Upon arrival we check-in at Hotel.

2pm. We take you to local Tea Museum and visit a Tea Plantation Estate. Here local tea pickers will explain the importance of regional tea’s grown here. We also do some Tea Tasting!

+Day 4 ~ Munnar/Periyar (B) (110 kms, appx. 3 hrs drive)

8am After breakfast/checkout you will be picked-up and driven to Periyar National Park and checked-in at Hotel.

3pm For sunset we take you inside Periyar National Park for wildlife spotting and Boatride on Lake Periyar.

6pm We take you to witness the traditional live martial arts of South India Kalaripayattu dating back to 2nd century AD.

After the show return back to your Hotel.

+Day 5 ~ Periyar (B L)

6am You will be taken for soft trekking in Spice Plantation of Periyar

9am Return to Hotel for Breakfast

After Breakfast proceed for Organic Garden visit called ‘Harvest Fresh Farms’ located in Lower camp, in the lush Cumbum Valley, flanked by hills that kiss the clouds and gurgling streams, orchards, vineyards, vegetable farms and cool breeze that sweep the valley. Late experience Bullock Cart Ride followed by Banana Leaf Traditional Lunch

+Day 6 ~ Periyar/Kumarakom (B ) (135 kms, appx. 3-4 hrs drive)

8am After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and driven to Lake city of Kerala ‘Kumarakom’ and Check in at your resort.

4pm Evening Enjoy Sunset cruise on the Vembanad Lake.

+Day 7 ~ Kumarakom/Alleppey (B L D) (20 kms, appx. 30minutes drive)

10am After breakfast/check-out we drive you to a jetty point in Alleppey. Upon arrival we will check-in at your Traditional Houseboat locally called ‘Kettuvallam’ and begin your Backwater Cruise.

Relax and unwind as your houseboat cruises thru narrow canals and scenic Kerala backwaters.

Traditional Lunch and Dinner will be served onboard.

+Day 8 ~ Alleppey/Pathanamthitta (B L D) (65 kms, appx. 2 hrs drive)

8am After breakfast/check-out we drive you to ‘Pathananmthitta’ and check in at village homestay Mannas Veedu.

On arrival proceed to Aranmula Temple to witness the Vallasadya (varieties of vegetarian dishes served on Banana leaf at the temple to devotees. After Lunch at your home stay visit Aranmula Kannadi (Stone Mirror making place).

Evening Cooking Demonstration followed by Dinner at the Home Stay

+Day 9 ~ Pathanamthitta/Poovar (B) (135 kms, appx. 3-4 hrs drive)

7am After early breakfast we visit Konni Eco Tourism to experience Coracle Rafting or Bowl Boat Riding. Later visit Elephant Grove, popular training centre for Elephants in Kerala. Here, clients have the opportunity to Witness (or even volunteer if they wish) for Elephant Bathing.

2pm Afternoon you will be transferred to ‘Poovar Island Resort’ by a Motor Boat and check in at Floating Cottages of Poovar.

+Day 10 ~ Poovar (B)

Full day enjoy facilities to enjoy the picturesque resort. As part of Wellness Tourism initiative, here you will experience a special Surprise, One Hour Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Therapy Treatment.

+Day 11 ~ Poovar/Kovalam (B) (30 kms, appx. 1 hr drive)

10am After breakfast/check-out we drive you to capital of Kerala Trivandrum. Upon arrival we drive straight to beachside of Kovalam to check-in at your Hotel.

+Day 12 ~ Kovalam/Trivandrum (B)

8am After breakfast we transfer you to Trivandrum for sightseeing tour. We visit 5000Year old Padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu- the preserver and protector of life. Nicknamed the Golden Temple of South India, this temple is the richest Hindu temple in the world. It is estimated over $22bn worth gold and precious stones are kept in its vault. Next we visit inside 1880 British built Napier Museum and Sri Chitra Art Gallery housing over 1100 ancient works from Rajput and Mughal dynasty.

After the tour you will be transferred to Trivandrum airport to catch flight back home.
