+Day 1 ~ Arrive Kolkata

Eta flight to be advised upon arrival in Kolkata you will be met and transferred to your hotel for checkin.

+Day 2 ~ Kolkata (Breakfast)

9am, after breakfast we begin our heritage walk tour with heritage tram ride thru the city, and visit flower market and Kali Temple witnessing the holy rituals. Next we visit Victoria Memorial, Mother Teresa Ashram and East India company’s St John Church. After tour, we return to hotel.

Afternoon free to relax or do your own activities.

+Day 3 ~ Kolkata (Breakfast)

Today morning we drive you to Chandernagore “former French colony” (located 35 Kms away from Kolkata). Here you explore buildings, cemetery and monuments related to French Era of Eastern India, visit Chandernagore Museum & institute (closed on Thursday and Saturday) later visit Sacred Heart Church., Chandernagar Gate & The Underground House (Patalbari). Later we return to Kolkata and relax at hotel.

+Day 4 ~ Kolkata/ Guwahati (by air) > Kaziranga (204 kms, 5 hrs) (Breakfast & Dinner)

730am you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Kolkata Airport to connect flight to Guwahati.

Depart Kolkata by Jet Airways flight 9W-2479 Etd 10.30 am

Arrive Guwahati “Economy Class” Eta 11.40 am

Upon arrival in Guwahati you will be driven to Kaziranga and check in at your hotel.

Kaziranga National Park is spread over 850 sq kms across Golaghat, Nagaon and Sonitpur districts. Kaziranga National Park is also designated World Natural Heritage sites by UNESCO in 1985. Originally established as a reserve forest in 1908.

Early morning enjoy Jeep Safari to visit Central range of the park exploring Fauna and Fauna “specially focussing on one horn Rhinos” of Kaziranga National Park.

Late in the afternoon you will be taken for Jeep safari exploring Fauna and Fauna “specially focussing on one horn Rhinos” of Kaziranga National Park,

+Day 6 ~ Kaziranga (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Today Early Morning and in the afternoon you will be taken to Eastern range exploring Fauna and Fauna “specially focussing on one horn Rhinos” of Kaziranga National Park,

+Day 7 ~ Kaziranga – Gibbon – Kaziranga (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Today Morning breakfast you will be transferred to the Hollongapar Gibbon Reserve (a journey of approximately 3 hours), rest of day/ evening looking for various primates, including stumped tailed macaque and pig tailed macaque, also Slow Loris. Evening return to your hotel and relax.

+Day 8 ~ Kaziranga (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Today Morning you will be taken for Full day visit to Ghorakati range, beginning with a casual walk cum trek from Panijuri with a forest guard.

After a picnic lunch you will be taken for jeep safari in Burapahar Range. Evening return to hotel and relax.

+Day 9 ~ Kaziranga - Guwahati / Kolkata (Breakfast) (204 kms, 5 hrs), Flight

7 am. In the morning you will be driven Kaziranga / Guwahati and drop at Airport to connect flight to Kolkata enroute doing boat ride near Tezpur to view River dolphin.

Depart Guwahati by Indigo Airlines flight 6E -856 Etd 4.10 pm

Arrive Kolkata “Economy Class” Eta 5.55 pm

Today morning we pickyou from hotel and transfer to Howrah Train Station (Kolkata) to connect train to Bhubneshwar.

Being the seat of Tribhubaneswar or 'Lord Lingaraj', Bhubaneswar is an important Hindu pilgrimage centre. Hundreds of temples dot the landscape of the Old Town, which once boasted of more than 2000 temples. It is the temple city Bhubaneshwar that calls for attention, dotted as it is with temples — big, small, ancient and in clusters.

+Day 11 ~ Bhubaneswar (Breakfast)

8am After breakfast you will be taken for visit to the Temple City of Bhubaneswar.

Among the finest of its 600 temples is the Lingaraj Temple of Shiva built in the 11th century, it is also the biggest in Bhubaneswar. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, also known as ‘Lingaraj’. It is adorned with beautiful sculptures, which have been carved on the spire. Bindusagar Lake lying to the north of the Lingaraja Temple, is one of the popular tourist attractions of Bhubaneswar. Lingaraj Temple (Non Hindu are not allowed inside the temple. To be viewed from a platform outside). Mukteshwar Temple, is one of the most prominent temples of Bhubaneswar and has been constructed in the style that is quite similar to the one used in the Kalinga School of Temple Architecture. Rajarani Temple is one of the most renowned temples in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha. It is made from the wonderful red and gold sandstone.

In the Afternoon visit the ancient caves of Khandagiri and Udaygiri which were carved and tunneled, to create this multi-storied ancient apartment residence for Jain monks. They were the work of the first known Odishan ruler, King Kharavela.

+Day 12 ~ Bhubaneswar/ Puri (85 kms, 2 hours) enroute visit Hirapur, Dhauli & Pipli (Breakfast)

8am After breakfast leave for Puri enroute visiting 64 Yogini Temple at Hirapur, Ashokan Rock Edicts at Dhauli and Pipli appliqué village.

Hirapur - On the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, 15 km south-east of the city, is a small, circular temple, the Yogini Temple, dating to the early ninth century. It is hypaethral (open to the sky), and belongs to a genre of architecture completely apart from the major Orissan school.

Dhauli - The Shanti Stupa at Dhauli Hills is a significant symbol of love and peace. It was here at the foothills by the side of the river Daya (literally meaning Kindness) Ashoka the terrible was transformed into Ashoka, the Compassionate here.

Pipli – It’s a centre for appliqué work, which depicts the essence of Oriya culture. It is also known for colorful and original awnings, canopies, garden and beach umbrellas, shoulder and handbags etc.

Proceed to Puri.

For centuries now, the beach at Puri has been the venue of countless pilgrims taking the traditional purifying dip. However, for decades now, both Indian and foreign beach lovers have made it their special haunt. The fine golden sands of Puri beach and the roar of the breakers rolling in from the Bay of Bengal.

Later in the afternoon visit the Jagannath Temple at Puri which is one of the most sacred pilgrimage spots in India. This 12th century temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath –“The Lord of the Universe”. The wooden figures of the three deities, Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra stand in the sanctorium garlanded and decorated by the high priests.

(Kindly Note: Non Hindus are not allowed inside the Jagannath temple and to be viewed from Raghunathan library platform. Sunday this platform is closed but one can view from another platform outside the temple.)

+Day 13 ~ Puri (Breakfast)

8am After breakfast leave for excursion to Konark.

Konark – An Epic in Stone - The Sun Temple at Konark conceived as a massive chariot hauling the Sun God across the heavens by the might of seven splendidly carved horses, standing aloft on 24 chariot wheels-intricately carved - symbolizing the march of time, lies in solitary splendour surrounded by drifting sand three kilometres from the sea, Also visit the Chandrabagha beach. Also visit the local Fishermans village and interact with the local community.

Later return to Puri and visit small artisan village hamlets at Raghurajpur near Puri which has the distinction of being a Heritage Crafts village. The entire community is involved in making some kind of Handicraft. There are just over 100 households and 300 artisans in the village. There is an informal division of work in the family and every member is engaged in doing something or the other related to paintings. While the men folk and the boys work on the paintings, the women are busy preparing the canvas, boiling the gum or powdering the natural pigments in a mortar. You can wander around, and of course shop! Pattachitra traditional cloth paintings are a specialty in the village, but the artisans make a wide variety of items including the palm leaf engravings, stone carvings, wood carvings, and wooden toys. Interact with the “Chitrakars” as they demonstrate their craftsmanship.

7am you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Bhubaneswar train station to connect train to Howrah (Kolkata).
