The Elephant Safari is conducted in the natural and serene area surrounding the camp of Dera Amer in Jaipur. After a welcome drink and feeding the elephants the guests are seated maximum 2 persons on each elephant and sent on a picturesque track following a local tribal guide passing by village hutments, fields, medieval fortress (lit up with 'mashals'-fire at night) and monument finally arriving at the camp situated in the middle of the forest.

Besides the main dining venues at the camp we have aesthetically created a very natural venue in the private forest where after or before the elephant rides couples, families or small group of friends can experience a true jungle experience with live barbecues, Mashals (flame torches), Bon Fires at night. Exclusive folk dances can be organized and a live local instrument will be heard at all times from the distance. Meals are served exclusively for the guests along with beverages and cocktails in the same luxurious and elaborate layout as the camp.

After a royal welcome with decorated Elephants, Trumpeters, decorated Camels, Horses with lancers, flower petals showering; the guests proceed into the venue through a grand passage lined by the decorated animals to be ceremoniously greeted by a military bagpipers band.

The guests are seated and a brief introduction with demonstration round followed by rounds of guest participation and finally military bagpipers march past and animal procession.

Microphone systems with live commentary and background music are in operation at all times.
