We begin with Chennai aka Madras situated along the coastline of Bay of Bengal, UNESCO acclaimed temple city’s of Mahaballipuram, Trichy and Madurai. Next we beach town of Kovalam in the South India’s capital city of Trivandrum., this is an amazing trip that covers complete South India..
(ETA: At your arrival flight time, advised) in ‘Chennai’ you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Overnight : Hotel in Chennai9am. Enjoy morning sightseeing begins as we visit Fort St. George built in 1653 by British east India company, oldest surviving British church in India St Mary’s Church, and the popular Government Museum.
Next we visit inside city’s most active Kapaleeswar Temple, and 16th century old Santhome Cathedral built during Portuguese rule. Later we stroll around the famed Marina Beach to enjoy sunset. After tour we return to Hotel.
Overnight : Hotel in Chennai9am. After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and driven to temple city Mahaballipuram and checked-in at Hotel.
2pm. We take you for sightseeing visiting one of the world’s greatest ancient artwork and UNESCO world heritage site’s Arjuna’s Penance and Five Rathas dating back to the 7th century. Later we stroll around Mahaballipuram Beach and visit Shore Temples overlooking the Bay of Bengal. After tour we return to Hotel.
Overnight : Hotel in Mahaballipuram8am. After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and driven to Pondicherry town influenced by French colonial settlement in India during 1954, and checked-on at Hotel.
2pm. We visit the famed Sri Aurobindo Ashram founded in 1926 by a French woman locally known as ‘the Mother’. Later we stroll in the downtown area to explore Mediterranean houses and bakeries.
After tour, we return to Hotel.
Overnight : Hotel in Pondicherry8am. After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and driven to Trichy. Enroute we visit temple town of Tanjore to explore the Brihadeswara Temple built in 1001 by Rajaraja ‘king of kings’.
Upon arrival in Trichy we check-in at Hotel.
Overnight : Hotel in Trichy9am. You will be taken on a short tour of Trichy visiting ancient Rock Fort Temple and India’s biggest temple Sri Ranganathaswamy.
After tour, day at leisure.
Overnight : Hotel in Trichy8am. After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and driven to the ancient city of Madurai set on Vaigai river and checked-in at Hotel.
3pm. Our afternoon sightseeing begins as we visit inside Thirumalai Nayak Palace and for sunset we visit India’s most popular temple Meenakshi Temple to experience evening prayer rituals Aarti. North India has Taj Mahal, and South India has the Meenakshi Temple. Built during 6th century BC and over 170ft tall, this temple is also nominated for the new 7 wonders of world.
Later we return to Hotel.
Overnight: Hotel in Madurai9am. After breakfast and checkout you will be picked-up and transferred to Trivandrum Airport to connect your onward flight back home.
