BHARATPUR - bird lovers heaven
A paradise for the avian world, and the pilgrimage for the bird lovers, it was known as the best duck shooting reserve in the British Empire. UNESCO has listed it as a world heritage site. The geographical location is ideal as it is on the main North-South avian route of India. Albeit its modest size of 29 sq. km. only, it boasts to house more than 375 species of beautiful birds, and more than 132 of them breed inside the Keoladeo Ghana National Park and nearly every year new ones are added to the list. Colorful kingfishers, graceful pelicans rare Siberian cranes and transcontinental fliers - the migratory water - fowl are amongst the 375 species of birds found in the Keoladeo National Park. Today morning after your Fatehpur Sikri visit, around 1130 hrs you will be met and driven to Bharatpur and checkin at Hotel. Today afternoon at 1500 hrs you will be taken to the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Safari your way inside on a traditional rickshaw ride along with a personal naturalist to experience some of the world's finest & rarest Bird species. You will also be presented with a Bird Checklist booklet. Overnight: Hotel in Bharatpur.
At 0900 you will be driven from Bharatpur to Jaipur and dropped off at your Hotel.
