All in all a wonderful experience in Palace on Wheels. Everything was well organized with many highlights . Oue butler was just sweet, allways available and catering to all our needs. Food was excellent for train cuisine. The Chef went out of his way to provide specialities not on the menu. Excursions were very well organized and executed. This train compares well with other luxury trains.

This was one of the best trips we have done with Maharaja Express. The service was that really made it for us – it was faultless. Truly delightful staff. We did experience the life of a Maharajah. The accommodation was of a very high standard and the food and wine (Indian and remarkably palatable) was good. Every day was an amazing treat and if travellers don“t take this opportunity.

A truly amazing experience. Did not want to leave the train in the end. It was a wonderful experience to visit South India train “Golden Chariot“. I would recommend to everybody who visits India. The sites and entertainment were good. Although some places were a bit rushed. Would have liked to spend some more time. Food was yum, so much variety!! The staff was very warm and welcoming.

Wonderful opportunity to visit India. We have had such great time and hospitality of Indian families which was just incredible. Amazing train journey of Palace on Wheels as provided a week’s great train experience.

India was not our bucket list but this trip was so special with memories to lasts our lifetimes sharing India with likeminded people and appreciate the richness of the Luxury train Palace on wheels.

It was amazing fascinating at times overwhelming for organizing the trip. Palace on wheel trip was a memorable one.

I traveled on Palace on Wheels and it will definitely rate it as a world class rail journey ‘ although mixed with a little hiccup. But with the benefit of hindsight, they were nothing as compared to a normal train traveling or just traveling in India.

Expectations, I know, tend to disappoint but this train journey was mostly up to mark in delivering all that was promised. Special mention is definitely deserved when it comes to the service and staff. Facilities were up to date and even the sleeping part is way much comfortable than the usual train journey.

Eating which is a thing of concern in India was taken care of in a fabulous way. Selection of destinations is good and with facilities and service to match the best this one is a truly wonderful ride.
